Oh, I once did a 'reboot' on my E680i, and it crashed so hard I had to take out the battery. One could see that the screen was on without backlight; but it didn't react to any keypresses...

i've used reboot several times without problems; for me it is a lot faster way to restart the phone than using the power-down button.

sometimes you just have to wait longer. when i had cyph's opie running and didnt unmount the swap, it takes very long time to shutdown. even after the screen shuts off, i could see a faint light from it. i know when this happened, it havent really shut down yet. sometimes it stay like that for a few minutes before really shutting off.

do so too, the questions for pin and security code does not appear

perhaps there is a difference between e680 and e680i/a780 hardware?
