A780 earpiece volume

Hey guys my first post here. I see alot of programs and scripts for the A780 but to be honest its all greek to me. Linux especially.

Is there a way to raise the volume of the earpiece on the A780? Both with the flip closed and open? I can hardly hear the other party in a busy atmosphere. I end up using speaker phone or BT. And this is with the volume knob at max level. I noticed that most moto phones have low volume.
I have PST will this work? Or do I need something linux based?

Other than low volume my A780 has been excellent!!

Can anyone help?

No one? C'mon I know someone has experienced low volume on incoming calls.

With the kernel available shouldn't this be easier to accomplish?

Is there any program that will connect to the phone?

yep, it's little bit too low. also it seems to me that earpiece volume was raised a little bit with the latest firmware upgrade.
you can try playing with alsamixer available somewhere in forums
