If our A780 was a free phone it would be possible. Because in my opinion SD and SDHC are electrically and mechanically the same. The difference is the firmware of the devices....

well just heard that SanDisk is soon going to release 8 GB microSDHC card ...wonder if we can ever use it on our A780's....
For the story follow this link http://www.intomobile.com/2007/06/27...sdhc-card.html

Nothing moves you like a Citroen!
There has been such discussion already and we argued if a780/e680 could use (micro)SDHC cards. There are 2 differences between SD and SDHC:
1. SDHC uses FAT32 by default (this is not a problem)
2. SD uses byte addressing while SDHC uses block addressing. This could be a problem, but some of participating in discussion said that it is possible that all that has to be done is writing a new card reader driver that would be able to use block addressing. We need to wait for OpenEZX to check that.
hope it happens sooner than later.....
