playstation games have been emulated on phones for a couple of years now, how well I don't know.

but don't expect the N64 to be emulated on our phone. the N64 was 64bit, as far as I know our phone's 32 bit. And the difference in speed is not that great (especially considering that our phone only has one processor).

can you share info about that? I know that even Pocket pc (with 128Mb Ram, 612 Mhz Xscale) still only emulate Gameboyadvance (realtime and good sound), I did't see a phone "stronger" than that Pocket PC

i have a pocket pc phone with the playstation emulator on it. and depending on the game, it can be playable or REALLY slow (gta2 worked fine while dead or alive was playing at 10 fps)
another problem faced is the lack of memory to store the games. to minimize the size of the games, it was necessary to remove or replace the videos and cutscenes (such as the ones in ff7) or else file sizes can be extremely large (500+ mb for most games)
and theres alot of games the emulator cannot play (and that list depends on the phone itself too as some pocket pc phones can handle ones that others cannot).
hope that helps you understand the current condition of the playstation emulation on phones.

I suspected as much, and I also know that to reduce size all music was converted to mp3
with today's memory cards it would be easy enough to have a full game (not many but maybe one or two)
although technically this is a thread for N64 playstation would also be cool (though I'm not holding my breath).
