Can Some1 Help Me? Pls ON GBA?

I have installed the gba turbo emulator and i downloaded a rom for the gba and the files came up not as .gba they came as list of some files.
Like i downloaded street fighter ex for a rom and files came up like sfe-01m, sfe-03, sfp-05, spf-10, sfe-02, sfp-06, sfp-07, sfp-07, sfp-08, sfp-09, and sfpu-04. I tried to hold and select "open with" it and "checked always..." and still didnt work. I downloaded harvest moon and it came with the file harvest moon.gba and i did the "open with" and "checked always" and it worked. Can some1 help how i can fix the other thing?

not all the roms can be played in our gba emu..for example pokemon ruby,sapphire and other games.so,i think there is no prob with ur emu.hav fun!

p/s:mine can't play pokemon ruby,sapphire,leaf green,fire red...arrgggg!!!!

Download the ROM with .gba extention or .gbc (gameboy color).

You can try to compress a rom in zip format.
Someone said that playing in zip can be a little bit faster.
