Installation:

For offline installation:

copy jar file to your mobile and install it
(how to install midlet depends on device).

For OTA (Over The Air) installation:
Open following link in the mobile browser:

and follow the "Clock jad" link (jad and jar about 60 kByte).


Main Features of the Clock:

- adjustable "analog" clock

- Stop Watch with lap time use Up, down, left, rigt, fire or tap on display or numerics (2, 4, 5, 6, 8 )

- The face and the "rotating Icon" can be exchanged
with any picture you like (via http downloads).
(Download Icons / Pictures:
Preferences -> Face & Icons Download ->
Set Focus to the Icon / Face Name field,
and you get an additional Menu entry "download").

- the font of the Stop Watch can be exchanged
(get a copy of the big and small sample font, modify it,
put it on a web server and load it to your mobile
set Preferences -> Stop Watch Style -> MyFont)

- downloaded icons are saved on the mobile (RMS)
supported size (kByte) depends on device.
(With Motorola A780 I had no issues with pictures up to 50 kByte)

- lots of colors, lengths, thickness, style options.

- colors adjustable with RGB value or with "Color Picker"
(Up, down, left, rigt or tap on display or numerics 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 )

- modified "Preferences" are saved on the mobile (RMS)

- "Screensaver Mode" on / off: press numeric 7 within one second 2 x.
or tap twice on the screen at left third in the middle (about 9 o'clock position)
(it is not possible to capture / disable all buttons)

- free to use (source is not disclosed)

- disable the splash screen poping up for 2 seconds in the beginning
(Preferences -> General -> Show Splash -> disable)

IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY TO KEEP THE SETTINGS WHEN PHONE IS SWITCHED OFF/ON ?
MY PHONE IS MOTOROLA A780.

Sure,

1) Icons (incl. Fonts) and so on -
after download do not forget to use Menue "Save"
(instead of Back or Delete)


2) Other settings -
In the "Preferences" list use Menue "Save Pref."
(instead of Back or Default)
going from Preferences back to the "Clock" with any of the
Menue entries ("Back", "Default" or "Save Pref." )
may take a few Seconds.
May be there is a problem if you press more than once
(during that few seconds) one of these Menues.


Preferences - Menue "Default" will delete all downloaded Icons
and set all Preferences back to the inital values.

Preferences - Menue "Back" will use the changed entries
but not save them to the RMS

3)
I could not test for two weeks on my A780 (it is still in repair)
but it was working / should still work.

4)
Settings survives also a reinstallation / update as long as you
answer the questions during installation correct
(Keep the existing data - YES)
