Thread: SoundBoost

  1. #1

    Default SoundBoost

    I clued gaintable-stuff and bass-boost together.

    Only testet with installation to phone.
    Edit gain-factors in:
    /diska/.system/QTDownLoad/soundboost/ezx_volumetable_a780.cfg

    ezx_volumetable.cfg (by evaldas)
    http://www.motorolafans.com/index.ph...table_a780.cfg

    bass-boost (by alebm and intoxicated)
    http://www.motorolafans.com/index.ph...highlight=bass

    Have fun.

    Did you test what sound % should we use and when maximum % of it. coz there is no ezx_volumetable_a780.cfg in /usr/setup before install this program.

    Your gain table is

    1,1,10,10,15,25,30,35,45,50,150;

    and what does bass-boost use for ?

    I only clued things together.

    ezx_volume... is from evalds. You can find it here:
    http://www.motorolafans.com/index.ph...table_a780.cfg

    bass-boost is from alebm and intoxicated. You find infos here:

    Good luck.

    @jumit
    I was try yr volumetable on my A780. It's very loud than i think even though i use only half volume level. my friend told me not to set over 70 to protect the speaker.

    and about bass effect i have no knowledge about sound. so for me bass on and bass off is not different. hehehe

    For music it is very load; I confirm. But on weak signals,
    such as the CoPilot-GPS-Voice, I use nerby the maximum
    volume-level.

    For bass-boost, I use native util 'vibrate' from alebm or intoxicated.
    If this doesn't work, please contact one of them.

    i havent checked out this..but as people r saying that volume is too loud...is that in a good way?? or there's cracking noinse at higher volume levels?

    EDIT:

    sumit uninstall it and restart..volume will go back to normal.

    well i just installed it.. sound is too distorted at full volume..while it sounds good and loud at 60-70% volume too.
    anyway to reduce its level just about little bit...that would make it perfect.

    Hey Jumit..

    Nice work
    I tried thesound boost on my new A780 but found it to be too noisy and disturbing
    I tried to tweak the parameters also several time but can just really get the logic behind those 11 parameters values, can you please explain me what these parameters values actually represent ?? how to tweak them to Optimum Loudness with perfect Crispness of voice

    as well as is there any way of shutting the application except restarting the phone ?? just like BassBoost

    Thanks
