Problems on my A1600

Hello !

I hope you'll be able to help me lads
Here's my problem : I hate the black housing, so I bought a new red one.
I tried to change the A1600's housing, but when I power on the phone, the touchscreen doesn't work, and when the flip is "closed", the screen doesn't change...

Could someone help me please ?

There is one flex cable on head in flip of phone and one head connect to phone mainboard
Please check flip flex cable, this cable fix your problem with screen doesn't change when phone is closed
Did you connect cable to to Motherboard connector?
Please check LCD Flex cable and touchpad screen for LCD Problem maybe you damegd touchpad screen but I guess your problems become from connection between connectors and flex cable because that very hard to connect flex cables with connectors without any tools

For the flip, I noticed a connector on the moterboard, next to the camera, I plugged it, but maybe the problem is in the flip, I'll check that.

Anyway please check your connector before buying because its very hard to damage Digitizer
If LCD is work and problem is touch screen you just need buy another Screen Digitizer it Cost about 12US$

NO your touch screen is not dead actually it happens sometimes when you do not assemble the phone correctly


This problem is due to the magnet present in the joint of the flip.... its a small button type maganet which controls the flip activity and when it is not placed correctly your touch screen will not work and your screen will not change when you will close or open the flip it will remain as OPEN

So you it what I mean to say......

Hope you have not lost your magnet from the flip while changing the case.... try fixing the magnet.....

Argh, I've already bought another digitizer, but I think I understand what you say, I've had the same problem on the A1200, the little circular magnet on the flip, but the question is : Where is it gone ?

yes it should be in the flip head means at the point where the flip is attached you will see the place where magnet is to be placed it has a place search for that and try closing flip if it works then fix the magnet with adhesive.....
