prob: A1600 switching off by itself

Hi,

Recently I have been facing an issue, my phone tends to switch off by itself

A trend that may be there is that when my phone rings and I dont take the call and press either arrow keys on the left side after some time if i check my phone its off...

anyone facing them issue???

i am planning to bring my phone to factory settings.....

I'm starting to think that the a1600 isn't what its cracked up to be.... kinda like how windows ME was when it came out.... all hype and a major disappointment afterwards.

Same issue on my Moto a1600... I've reseted to factory defaults, but the problem is still there. Help please!

Take it to motocare before you run out of warranty.

Hi Motomaster, I'm in Argentina, Buenos Aires, Motocare doesn't know my cell phone. What's more, they don't have any knowledge about it. What could I do?

Where did you get the phone from? Online or abroad?
Motocare would have been helpful , strange they don't know anything about it.
What I would suggest is that you can try a flash to your phone, although if the problem is hardware specific , it will not be cured.But you can have a try.

Thanks for your response. I've bought it in Hong Kong but At present I'm in Argentina. I mailed Motorola and they said me I've look for supporting where I bought the phone... (Impossible for me). Do you know any instructions in the Forum where I can flash my phone?. It would be great!. Thanks again!

You can get f/w's in the a1600 section and look into the e6 section for flashing guides.
Do not flash with an e6 f/w , use only a1600 compatible f/w.
