a1600 backlight problems

I got this phone a month ago, now all of a sudden the backlight is so dim I can't read anything.. anybody have a solution to this

Have you checked the backlight settings???

Menu>Setup>Backlight Setup

Check the backlight display %age.... increase it see if that works....

Yes the backlight setting are at 100% wish it was that simple

It just got dim all of a sudden, now I have to go to a pitch black room to even see the screen a little bit

and when I do go to backlight setting and decrease it gets even dimmer, I increase it to 100% it gets a little lighter but it's the same brightness as before.

Have u tried flashing ur phone?
i guess it might be a hardware prob... not sure though

Also Try Holding the call Button (Green) for 4 Seconds it brightens the Lights see if this helps
