if ur camera is 3mp u shud be able to take a pic of resolution as high as 1536x2048 as per my A1600
U can look at one more thing
I can select the devices in my phone which I want to enable by touching the battery icon. A screen pops up where I can enable and disable
- Network
- GPRS
- GPS

Look out for these things

This phone may well be a fake. When I was ordering my A1600 from China my colleague there asked if I wanted the real or imitation one as they were both available. Note: this was even before the phone was launched in China. fake US$350 / real US$650.
I have had mine some months now and only have issue with two things. one- the GPS maps, and two- an 8G card I use with the phone. I can use all 8G but can only write once through the phone. To add new through the USB I have to remove card and use a card reader.

Ok, so I bought and received a real A1600. I have taken a bunch of photos comparing the two and I'll post them soon. The first one was clearly a counterfeit by all means.

I called up Motorola & Paypal to see if there was some way that I could get refunded without sending it back to the seller, but neither really cared that he will turn around and sell it to someone else. I have to send it back today to get a refund.

My firmware (from the www008w trick) is:

R542_G_11.61.21R

Perhaps we just have different versions of this phone - my motonav maps do not have any India like yours do, only china, malaysia, taiwan, etc.

I'm really busy the next few days with other things but as soon as I can I'll post the real/fake photos and upload my firmware for people to check out if they wish.
