Default Flashed to .08p generic, but where is USB Lan?

WHERE is the USB LAN? I still have only USB Modem and Storage Device in the phone setup... In the topic about how to flash was written it should have usb lan.

Checking my version, its shows now R532H2_G_11.20.08P

    Also, my MSN vanished.

    I flashed from R532_G_11.00.53P.

Do I need to flash again to another firmware?

as far as i know .08p doenst have usblan in menu options. You have to manually activate it through terminal.

Ah, that explains it, but it is written in the flashing related sticky... ok, thanks for the info.

yea. I have this fw you just flashed and theres no option for usbnet. I use a script to enable
if you´re interested just execute "echo MotNet > /proc/usbd-switch
" in console or make a script and it will enable lan over usb

I noticed that mistake too. The original 08p (which I had till flashing to 30p46p_mis) don't have USB Lan and the speakerphone doesn't work with flip closed (AFAIK, can't test it lol).

Damn... so I have to flash again. What FW would you recommend after the 08p? It should have speakerphone with closed flip and usblan too, and should not drain the battery within a day...

What would be the next higher and better firmware after 08p? Please advise! People here talking about so many different FW here, which are not listed in the sticky, so I am a little bit lost...

Just run a terminal and your set.. What do you need it for? Radiocomm and telnetting can still be done using the modem option on the phone.

Ok, it works with telnet or at+mode=13.
But I also would like to have the speakerphone fixed and some other issues (sticky is wrong about that 08p has the speakerphone working even if the flip is closed).

Alpha42: In your opinion, what would be the next firmware I should flash after the 08p, which gives me a better picture quality, speakerphone working with closed flip and does not drain the battery in just a day?

I have to correct you.. 08p does have the fix for speaker phone.. I can speak with my phone closed and i used 08p. And my battery life is pretty good if i may say so. Try doing a battery recycle to insure you get a strong charge next time.
