Hey guys,
I am new to the site and think its great. I have been researching the A1200 for a week or so now and am looking for some feedback from this great community. I have wanted one of these phones since seeing it in China a few weeks ago, the think Im hesitant about is that Im currently using a I-Mate SP3I with a windows OPSystem. I have no experience with Linux nor how it all works. Is this phone something that someone as green as I am can utilize or should I continue my search. I see there are a lot of bugs getting fixed here and it doenst sound to difficult but what do you guys think, should I go for it? Honest opinions are appreciated. Keep up the great work!

If you are not reluctant to become a linux enthusiastic and have not fear about clear complete your phone and reenable againg from zero, this could be very fun have (like us) the "Ming"

Dude, go for it! I too am not a Linux guru by no means and I absolutely love my Ming. I have had my Ming about 5 months and I continue to learn more about this great gadget! I am starting to get into the flashing and modding of my Ming. The support and braintrust here is second to none! The moderators and developers are AWESOME....

Is it very difficult to clear phone and start over?

I have had the A1200 for over a year already and i still love it. Its still my main phone and i have many other mobile phones.
