SBF questions...

I'm pretty new to this SBF stuff and I've been a) trying to mod the startup logo, and b) fix DST. In my works I have figured out how to disasseble an SBF and reassemble it. but I was wondering if I removed all parts but the one I was working on, say CG44 or CG39, could I make and SBF that ONLY has the one CG and it will only update that CG?? Cause that would make things really easy. I have been wanting to try it but my test phone is in the field for hte next little while so I don't have one to muck with. Maybe someone has already tried this approach?

You cant mate, its not like a E398, all checksums will tally only if all elemnts of the pack are present with proper addresses.

Damn sure woul dhave made things easier and would make recovering from a bad theme easy for us generic ppl too :P No need to lose our FW then

What about yan0's sbf file to enable MPKG with 25p?
There are only 2 files in it CG37 and RDL3.

Maybe I'll give it a shot then, I guess worst thing is that I'll just have to re flash. Just need to wait a few weeks for my test phone to return.

I tried flashing, but all I got was a flash failed, I then built up a pack with the 24 flex and used it.

What FW do you have instaleld though? 24p?

I used the 25P flash and RDL with Mischicka flex, so I've got 25 flash with 24 flex

I'm still on the other branch, 53P, I think my flex is much different not as secure and picky, so I think I'll give it a shot anyhow, just to see, but again I need to wait that phone won't be back till the 18th ish.

Cool mate, I'm not trying out a Hybrid 30p with an E6 flex, will post up how it goes.
