Using HID feature of A1200.

Hi,

I have blue bluetooth usb adapter, I also got driver cd with it, I installed the drivers and also the gui application. But when I click on service discovery Its saying HID feture not available for my a1200, but its working for my friends sony erricsons phone, and he is able to control windows like adjust volume, play pause songs on windows system.

If anybody know how to enable HID feature with bluesoleil on a1200 plesae let me know.

And I am awaiting your response.

as far as i know Ming doesnt support HID.

In that case I have to do that on my own, anybody know good usb bluetooth adapter that is compatible with A1200 ?, Means It has to work with out freaking me out in setting it up for programming.

AFAIK, this is not a BT dongle limitation, but a PHONE limitation, Ming seems to support only Dial, Serial port and Object Send services. For BT LAN for example, you need a few hacks and tricks (never worked on mine).

you need a program that uses SPP.


Salling Clicker http://bemused.sourceforge.net/ uses it and works with ming, I use it.
From the topics here RemotePC seems to also works. I've never tried to use it.

If you install Bemused http://bemused.sourceforge.net/ for windows, you can control WinAmp with Java Player http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9156.

Just install and configure Bemused Server for Windows and Java Player (only the Java programa - don't need to install bemusedxmms nor fakedsm)
