Idea for developing, need help on programming for A1200

Hello to everybody, first of all, I'm Lisi1986 from Argentina, I've got an A1200 and I'm glad to be part of this community.

As the titles says, I wonder if any developer would be interested in developing an application like this one that is for symbian phones. It is called Geominder and this is the official site Geominder's site


The idea is to create a kind of gps but by software by taking advantage of the cells.

The app works analysing the position of 3 or more cells and gives an aproximate location according to the cells, It's not a gps that is precise, but it is interesting.

I would like if any developer is interested in doing this app, I would be grateful and so all the users of moto ming i think.

Its an amazing application.Location based Reminders is a very noval concept.


One approach would be to use some java based application and rewrite it for ming.So the easiest approach is re-engineering

The other is to write a Lin application....Im not too much of a linux techie...But this site or motorola Dev fourm gives some useful tips to wannaBe programmers.

yes, the problem is that I have no idea in programming in java or for linux. So I need someone who knows this languages and who wants to develop it to contact me to see what we can do. Bye.
