Can't see my phone in Suse 10.2

First off, Tanks for the help I already received, you guys rock!!!
I am trying to make my A1200 to sync with my linux box. I have some info about opensync, but the issue is I can't find my phone (not even my memory card). I try looking for /proc/sys/fs/bin_fmt but all I have is .../binfmt_misc wick is empty and if I try to mount it will respond saying the file is not a block device. I know there is something I'm messing up!! Please help!!!

In mine openSuse 10.2 massstorage mode is ok. That's all i need
