I installed it on my phone and it works great. It makes reading text files very easy - especially the paging functions.

Unfortunately all menus are in Chinese, but with a bit of playing around figured out what they all meant (see below).

You have to change the permissons in the registry.txt file before you can open files on the phone. See here for instructions on how to do that.

    Instructions on Using Anyview

Start the app then stroke up on the screen with the stylus.

    • If you stroke up on main part of screen you get what I call the main menu (fig 1) where you can open a file as well as set screen orientation.

    • If you stroke up starting in grey area at bottom of screen you get what I call the Setting menu (fig 2) where you can change the font and screen colours; set and jumpt to "bookmarks"; etc.

[I remember which is which as usually do not use the menu with the numbers 1 and 2 in circles on the menu]

Start off by selecting "Open File" menu and a file menu will appear so you can select the dir and file you want. (Once you have opened the file once then you can use "Recent Files" enu to quickly re-open it).

    Navigation

    • Once you have your doc opened you navigate by tapping near bottom of screen for Page Down or top of screen for Page Up. (You can page very rapidly).

    • For large docs you can use the Jump to xx% menu - it is a slider popup (eg 50% takes you to halfway).

    • Bookmarks allow you to make placeholders for pages in the doc and then jump back to them quickly - but as several submenus to do that do not use them.

Some of the other options also have submenus - but this should be enough to get you started I hope!

Hopefully someday soon, some good person will create and English Language version!!!

That could be my fault - I see in Fig 1 - I put the first 2 translations in the wrong order. The first one is to open the recent files list, the second is to Open files. So try the next oen down.

Also did you remember to change the permissions in the registry.txt file so can read files?

Touché, how i do that ?

Never mind, my fault, i didn´t notice that u said to do that. i am trying right now.

    Update---------
It worked but does not work ok for portuguese. The specias chars are in chinese. But it´s a great program.
