Trouble with synchronization

When motorola phone tools is launched, it just constantly reads "Intializing, please wait..." Therefore, can't synch Outlook info with phone and v/v.

Anyone else experience this, any idea how to fix.

I may have the same problem as you. All of a sudden MPT just refuse to see my phone. I rebuilt my PC and reloaded MPT still nothing. I hope someone have a fix for this. As I cannot backup my phone and sync with Outlook

Hello ppl,
the problem that you face is not with the MPT or Outlook or your computer.
U just have set your phone's USB mode to mass storage and so you face this problem.
Turn it back to Modem and select automatic feature in it to resolve your problem.
