Default how to format transflash card?

i've done a search and couldn't find any relevant information so here goes. I am trying to switch things from a 128k card to a 1gb card but my computer doesnt show my ming as mass storage device (it is set to mass storage) so i can't make a copy of my info to transfer to the new card. In moto phone tools, the phone is recognized but it wont allow me to xfer the .sys file from tflash to my computer or the root file. any ideas? i've installed al of my software onto the tflash card and really dont wanna have to do it all again

It might be easier if you get yourself a compatible card reader.
check if have enabled to show hidden files in folder options in windows explorer.
copy the .system folder to HDD from 128M card using the card reader,
remove 128M card and insert your new 1G card and copy back the files.
