Went to T-Mobile today to compare services with Cingular because I'm shopping for a better mobile service provider.
    Tested out Connection speeds.

    Location: Detroit, MI
    Carrier: T-Mobile
Data Plan: Unlimited Internet / Email Package ($19.99)
    Firmware: 25P
    EDGE Mod: Yes
    Speedtest Result: Fluctuating 40 / 70 / 100kbps
    Most consistent around 70

I did the seem edit manually and it worked fine (seems to, no pun intended). Speeds during testing using phone as modem 120kbps(~15kb/s). Note that a comment earlier compared this as equal to 56k modem which is inaccurate as 'back then', you were flyin if you got 5kb/s.

I didn't test the speed before I did the edit so no comparison there.

However, and maybe Alpha can help here, when I did the seem edits, my bluetooth quality took a huge dive to hell.. No matter what headset I try everything is crap now.

Firmware is 25P.. Which may change tonight...........

p.s. testing done via dslreports speedtest using the mobile test max size available.

What do all those numbers mean?
I thought max speed was 380.

Anyone know where else i can check my bandwidth?
