invalid recipient address email set up!?

I have my a1200 working great......but,
today i check my email and it REC. all the mail..(worked nice)
I then reply to an email and it said "invalid recipient address" wtf.....

So i email my self...(halen16@Charter.net) and it works!? but it will not let me send email to yahoo....aol ?!?!? my send sent up is

port:25

email: halen16@charter.net

nickname:_________

authentication: off

same as rec. is checked

use SSL no


i can rec email but it just will not send it any where but to myself?

I have that too. I asked my email/internet provider (ewetel) and they told me, it's not possible to send email if not accessing their smtp server from their own internet account (only to my own address woks). Using GPRS I'm coming from my mobile provider's account so they don't accept sending email (receive is no problem).

They say it's to prevent spammers to use their server for sending and there is nothing that could change this behavior.

I can use my gmx account for sending and there are others which work too.

gmail and gmx is not the same, but gmail works as far as I know. Maybe you'll have to activate pop access to gmail first and I don't remember if it's possible for a free account. Search the forum, there are some threads about gmail

I have my charter.net email account on my ming....(cant send)
and i have my GMAIL account. that sends and rec.

For your info; My MING sends & receive email, using my home default provider settings: Videotron - Canada, plus my Gmail..
