Help: Phone Stuck on Hellomoto Screen!

HELP PLEASE...
My a1200 is stuck on the Hellomoto screen.
It won't go to any other screen.
I cannot do a thing with it.
What do I do?

I think you only can flash the phone

What did you install skins before this happened?

I know this is a typical lazy response...
I actually did nothing to the phone.
I haven't downloaded anything.
I barely use the phone... other than the occasional going online during my work day the phone gets limited use.
- The batery needed charging... I plugged it in... and presto - stuck on the opening screen "Hellomoto"
- I found this quite upsetting. I acutally love this phone. Never thought I would have an issue with it.
- I will try to do the flash thing... however, I will admit - I know nothing about the procedure and will have to read up on it. I just hope I don't screw things up worse.

Telling Baxter to flash his phone is like telling an infant to assemble a carburetor. This is coming from a coworker who has the unfortunate task of putting up with him 10 hours a day.

Luckily I was able to flash it to 59p for him and the problem is solved, at least until he breaks it again!

Now we're just trying to figure out how to get an American Keyboard when in the Dark Color Scheme. It functions like one, but the keys are mis=-abeled, like an eastearn European board..... any ideas?

Make sure you have selected your default lanaguage as English. There is a bug with some FW's where the default keyboard is Turkish - which looks similar to the English one. (Not sure if this is cause of your issue - but worth checking!)

hi all , i have installed a mtf theme , later restarting the splash screen get stuck , how to clear this,, .. if i need to splash can anybody plz help me with full deatils... if u can with screen shot , i dont know how to flash and what software have to use....

Hello guys, i am having the same problem, my a1200 is stuck on the hellomoto screen, i guess it was out of battery and when i wanted to turn it on, it just wouldnt go past the hellomoto screen. I was reading the posts above, and it asked if the person installed any skins, i had installed the iphone theme, would that be the reason? And can some one please show me the step by step method to "flash", i have no idea what that is and i really want my phone back.

Hi rsiddi3 - welcome to the forum. Installing themes is exactly what caused your phone to freeze - look in the Guide to Modding sticky at top of A1200 forum for the reason why - so it does not happen again.

As far as Flashing - the best thing you can do is read the Guide to Flashing sticky (also at top of forum). It has step-by-step instructions on what you need to do - along with all the things to watch out for.

Okay so i did some extensive reading on all those and i managed to flash my phone. However, i did not know what firmware i had previously. Therefore, i used 08p, then 44p and now im using 24xp and seems to be stuck at 97%. The reason why i flashed so many times is that every time i passed the flash, nothing would work on my fone, battery sign had a strike through, no atenna, and yes i tried turning it on and off, still wouldnt work, i tried it for about an hour. Then i flashed it with 44p, still same problem. Now im currently flashing with 24xp, it seems to be stuck at 97%

man, i dunno what to do, thanks for your help
