UH OH! Text Messaging!

Hey guys I upgraded to 08p firmware and now theres no english qwerty keyboard when I text message..

did you try changing your language setting? o_O
I'm using the same as you, and I have everything....
except for the occasional network lag with txt messages (one took 2 days to get to me...-_-) I've had no problems with this firmware. well, i'd love to be able to use skins...but for some reason i can't seem to get that setup properly. o_O
anyways, i'm with fido as well. it has nothing to do with the serverice. check your language pack.

Hey guys thanks for the timely response.
Yes, I am on fido. My language was set to automatic, and now I changed it to English, but its still the same. No keyboard. On top of that, the letters don't even appear as I type them, not even in any of the other languages. It's just blank and every few letters I press it maybe goes forward 1 letter space.

English keyboard will appear after restarting phone

edit: no need for taking out SIM as postet next, only turn off and on again

Same thing happened to me. Change language to english (which u did already). Power off the phone, take sim card out, then put back in and power up again. That worked for me.
