.pkg or .lin files, not both

at first, I installed the yan0's mpkg and his lin loader. I installed a one or two .pkg files. I coun't remember what though. I remember the lin loader didn't work though. After some try to get hte lin loader to work with different .system files, changing the volume mod, and deletion of .system files with reinstallation of .system folder by phone reset, nothing worked, both the .pkg and .lin. Now I got vasu's files. It came with a lin loader and a mpkg installer. .lin files now work. I can change my themes. I can't install the zmplayer. It just wont work. I tell it to install and it's as if I didn't click it at all. I tried both 1.1 and 1.0.

also, Right before I applied Vasu' files, I used Yan0's mpkg and lin loader never showed up, but hte mpkg did. It didn't work properly though.

any idea? I don't want to install yan0's files cuz I'm afraid it will wipe everything out and I need to reinstall everything again.

I am having what sounds to be the same problem.

I tried yan0's mkpg installer, and it showed up in my list, but when I tried to install the loader.pkg, it gave the "Invalid File" error message.

I then tried Vasu's method, and replaced my entire .system folder with the files he provided. Yet I still can't install the loader.pkg.

I'd really like to get this mpkg installer working properly, as I want zmplayer over the real player. I won't even get into the issues I'm having with Radiocomm...

Alpha, if you're out there, please help! I know you're busy w/ the 850 mHz hack on the V6 RAZR, but if you have time to help us "lowly" Ming users out, that'd be great!
