Q" How can I access Internet via Bluetooth or USBLAN instead of GPRS?

Hey guys,

I know that this has been asked in a number of the other forums (And I saw some posts about this in this forum as well), but I haven't found anything specific for the A1200...

I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a package (MPKG) or instructions on how to setup the A1200 to access the internet via USBLAN or bluetooth (Preferred). I'm running windows XP for the host computer.

The reason I'm trying to get this setup is to avoid the costs of GPRS data transfer to sync my contacts and calendar (Email too in the future). I'd love to be able to sync via bluetooth of usblan when available.

There is an old topic about this in the DEVELOPERS forum.

First you need USBLan (USBNet) working.
If you have a1200i, the fone is ready (you need only to set the option on USB Setup).
If you have an older FW the best way is to setup Telnet (there is a pkg in the download section).
