how can i make my computer recognize my phone ?

wassup guys ... im trying to connect my phone to my pc by usb but its not recognizing it .. im going to cheke in my computer buts the removable disck isnt there .. i want to put songs in my a1200 can someone give me a hand pls thx guys

it seems tat ur driver for USBs in ur OS (winxp??) is not new enough.. no probs. just go to this page http://www.motorolafans.com/index.ph...d download the motopcdrivers.zip.

extract d files n copy them to %WINDOWS@\driver cache and %WINDOWS\Drivers directories.

restart d PC

connect d mobile again to ur pc..

ur pc should b now able to detect d fone...

just Switch your phone into Mass Storage....which can be found in Setup/USB Mode

I did the same...n my comp detected the ming..but now my file manager in ming is showing some files like desktop.ini etc in all the folders whereas nothing comes up in my comp so i m sure they r not hidden .can ne thing be done to remove or hide them???

if you correctly set ur phone to MassStorage and connect it with your computer....the file manager will supposedly close itself...and in your computer the removable disk should appear...make sure u switch to MassStorage and connect it to ur comp....or try restart ur phone.. .i am a noob too.all i can help.so hopefully, someone can help
