PC not installing Motorola USB Modem drivers

HI all!,

Ever since i bought my A1200, i'm facing software issues like MPT doesn't detect the phone, MPT screen hangs, etc, etc,. Now, when i have installed MPT, the PC detects Motorola USB Modem and doesn't installs the drivers for that.

Please help

I have the same problem. I've have not been able to correct it, and have tried all the advice but with no sucess.

I had the same issues with MPT it wouldnt sync because it was enable in the modem mode (it was set to Mass Storage on setup). Somehow it worked one day.

I think you´re not able to install your drivers, because your phone is set up to USB MASS STORAGE. Before connecting your phone to the PC, go into SETUP --> USB MODE, and set the MODEM option. Save the settings. After that try connecting your phone to the computer again, it should ask you for drivers immeadialtly. Use the drivers provided in the MPT disk.

are you using 64-bit OS? if so then download 64-bit driver.
