A1200 reboot itself ?

Hi Motofans,

I have bought in Hong Kong an A1200 phone 4 weeks ago. But regularly (every few days) the phone is restarting itself without reasons (i am in french network, firmeware: R532.G.11.00.53P). I have already tried to play with all options. Some one can help me to find a solution ??

are you closing the applications after you're done with them or do you just transfer from one to another? If the phones memory is overloaded then that could happen. Have you installed any other programs or applications on it?

Yes, I am closing the application each time, and for the moment I have not installed new application. If it is a problem of memory, do you know how I can check that ?

by what I read it could be the firmware OR the battery. If you can get your hands on a battery it might solve your problems plus their not too expensive from ebay if Im right.

As for the memory thing. It seems I was wrong. Ususally the phone will tell you when too many applications are running and will ask you shut them down. So I would doubt its that.

I have read the topic, and I think my firmware is a recent one, so I think the issue comes from the battery ....

I will check the cost to send back to hongkong for ther waranty or the cost of a new battery.
