New user of MOTOMING A1200

Hi All,

I bought this cute phone recently.
After looking at this developer forum, I am interested to upgrade my phone also with enhanced features like: equilizer settings, video camera with more resolution, and also some other utilities like talking dictionary English, etc...

My first concern is, how can I know the FW of my mobile?
second: out of many available recent FWs, which one is performing best for the users?
third: how can I roll back to the default FW if I don't like the upgraded FW?

Please help me regarding these doubts.
And also please let me know the list of applications and utilities that can be installed in my mobile.

Hi Thanq for the response.

I have gone through the steps to install MPKG installer and I installed the MPKG installer.
I got the icon in my programs list in main menu.
After that I copied zm player.pkg, loader_a1200.pkg, etc....
But I am not able to install these pkg files with MPKG installer.
Can you please guide me where I am going wrong?

I am using A1200.
My fw seems to be: R532H2_G_11.20.12P
My FW is 12P
I have installed MPKG Installer as mentioned below:
I unrar the MPKG Installer.rar file.
I got an invisible .system file.
I have replaced the existing .system file with the new .system file.
I restarted the device.
In the main menu I am able to see the MPKG icon (like an installable icon)
After that I have copied the loader_A1200.pkg, mystuff_A1200.pkg, nosound_A1200.pkg, zmplayer-a1200-v1_1.pkg and some other pkg files.
I tried to open the package files with MPKG installer.
But nothing has happend, no beep sound.

I even restarted the device. Still there are no new programs installed in my device.
PLease let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

Click and hold on the .pkg file you want to install, and select Open with ....
Then select the MPKG
