what version r532c2_g_11.31.25pbpflex

like the tittle says what version is this i just got the phone yesterday, and this is the firmware that i have, it only supports, english, and 2 different oriental characters i cant read, im assuming chinese and japanese.


the version is R535C2_G_11.31.25PBPFLEX:

im looking at getting bints 53p_plus3 for the upgrades untill someone figures out the EDGE version

also who else uses the bints 53p_plus3 and what do you like and dislike about it

I think it doesn't make sense for you to look after 53p whatever version. Your's is the latest firmware.

Your phone will propably not work with 53p and you can't get your current fw back. I think, even if it worked, it would be a downgrade anyway (lower video resolution, media player not as good as your's and some other little things, I guess, on bint's 53p)

Possibly the only fw that works for your phone is 24p which, I think, is the earlier (CM branded) version of c2 track. So this would be a downgrade too.

What do you dislike in your fw? Is it CM branded as 24p?

well i thought about 24p cause some thought that it had EDGE, but couldnt find it, then they said that i couldnt go back to any other firmware witch scares me, as far as the EDGE goes, i know on some phones there is no "E" and will only show a "G" even if EDGE is working


as far as getting away from mine, i didnt know that i had possibly the latest firmware, i dont have anything bad to say about it other then i wish the browsing was faster, but if mine is the latest then ill just stay with it untill the EDGE is officially cracked

but the phone doesnt seem to be branded with anything, i dont have any special program files, and it automaticaly shows cingular as my carrier

The A1200 with EDGE is not available yet and a fw file for this won't be available before the phone is there, I guess. Some rumors are more or less whishfull thinking

A1200 has the "E" icon for EDGE (4 different "E"s for different status) so it will shurely show it if EDGE is used. There are many other icons that never are used in every fw for A1200! I have seen them (not on the phone, in flashfile).

Anyone know what the difference is between 24p and 25p? or if 24p can be upgraded to 25p?

pictures seem to be good

other then that i dont know what else to look for, if you want me to look into something just tell me where and how i dont mind helping
