Can anyone please explain to me how to configure the MING to send/receive email from Gmail?I've tried searching the web but none of the settings there actually works.Thanx

You can simple go to http://google.com in your phone browser or you can setup a pop3 acount.

connection setup: what you made under data setup/internet connection

Also, don't forget to activate POP in your gmail account (settings -> Forwarding and POP).

I am not able to configure gmail account...it says host not found

in the smtp setup the port is: 465, all the rest is OK.

Yes, usually works with smtp.gmail.com:465, but "587" seems be better on all devices I used (sx66, qtek9000, mio a701, miop550, artemis, asus p525 etc.)

plz it would be really gr8 if someone provides detailed info on how to setup email client for gmail , yahoo and hotmail.i tried the gmail but it gives the error 'connection cannot be established ' . Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hotmail cannot be accessed on any mobile because it doesn't use pop3 protocol. For Yahoo you have to get Plus account to have pop access. For Gmail it's like the steps mentioned above (3-4 posts above this one)
