Flash memory card not detected after "Master Reset"

has any of you run into this problem?

I went into Setup and selected Master reset. after that, the flash card is not shown on the top bar by signal indicator. the card is still inserted...



I turned the phone off, removed the card, turned it back on, turned it off, put the card in, and turned it back on. still not seeing that card...

I was able to get the memory card detected - this is what I did:

turn phone off
remove memory card
turn phone on
master reset
turn phone off
insert memory card
turn phone on
flash card is present
games+apps are present
