1. is ny1 able to use NOP on the e6??
2. do all sites open with Opera/Opera mini with NOP perfectly??
3. has ny1 been able to bypass the 3mb limit on NOP??

for all the questions:- YES
it's working on my E6
All sites are opening up
and i am downloading songs which has size of aroung 5 MB. So problem with the limit.
And moreover never knew that there is 3MB mimitation

LOLZ! All sites open in Opera but with no flash content. Also looks scattered in mobile view. But Opera 4 is better in normal view. I am thinking of chaging my Ming to any WM5 phone for Flash Player 7 availability, hence most sites will look great.

HATS OFF ONCE AGAIN TO AIRTEL. I have visited my village again this week and you people dont know how surprised and happy I am as AIRTEL covered the smallest remote village like mine with several towers within just 4/5 kms and I am getting GPRS (not EDGE) NOP (net-on-phone) connection directly in phone and in my laptop. In fact I worked in my village first time for website related issues (troubleshooting) and done the job which saved a lot of my time and travel.

Not only my village but most villages are covered and not a single spot is left as I was getting GPRS browsing all over the Belgaum District in karnataka and everywhere in our TALUKA.

In constructing Mobile towers BSNL was first (with worst service and bad GPRS), AIRTEL is second (phone and net all great, no edge but sure it will come soon) Reliance is third (covered many areas but still some parts left. Phone service is great but still Net-connect problems as usual)

I felt so Royal as I was able to use NET in the middle of nowhere, i.e., in running Cruiser on the village streets. I even renewed two website domain names in the middle of (you can say) jungle, which was very important work for me to do for my clients as I am into domains and webspace business. Cool no? Now I can spend some more days in village doing some urgent jobs if required. \/

Hey i saw about airtel 599 plan for 1GB download. But i was wondering is it enough ? i never had experience with mobile browsing, so if you can just let me know how much you guys browse in KBs per day..

I am happily using AirTel GPRS with these settings since 6 months or more for both SURF and EMAIL on MING. Dont know about BPL ip addresses. But if GPRS from any isp works on any any any almost any GPRS mobile phone!

Now I have Enabled EDGE on my Ming with this help of this Forum. The browsing is tooo fast. Dont tell Airtel ppl, else they will charge me for BroadBAnd ha ha ha

I even Surf on my PC and Laptop with Ming in Modem mode and MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS software came with Phone. I get download speed anything between 56kbps to 100kbps, thats faster than Dialup.

One more thing I could Surf while ROAMING all over india with Airtel Network in Roaming Area at no extra cost and at same speed.


EDIT: LEMME CORRECT AFTER 5 MONTHS HERE, THE DOWNLOAD SPEED IS WHOOPING 250 KBPS AND STABLE LIKE HOME CABLENET.

I am using motorola A1200 and i am enable edge. I have airtel prepaid connection with NOP.
I am getting downloading speed 18-20kbps. but i am not able to download more than 3mb size. any idea ?????????

I m using Rs. 599/month "Mobile Office" plan and it is providing unlimited use with 30-40 kbps. But as i have enabled EDGE , i am getting 115.2 kbps.
