Default Review A1200i (not A1200) - Now in English!

    Hi people!!

I just received my ming 3 days ago and i was thinking... how can i show my gratitude for the community here and other foruns? So i realized i never saw a complete review of the A1200 and neither any review of the "outside China" version A1200i, so i made a couple pictures and with the help of screen capture software i made a review of my A1200i so you guys can see the differences between one and another.

    Review link in English:
    http://www.tursites.com.br/review_a1200i/index_en.php
    http://www.motorolafans.com/componen..._on_the_A1200i

I'm still trying to post it in the wiki but i cant make pictures work there.

    Review link in Portuguese:
    http://www.tursites.com.br/review_a1200i/

And a couple pictures i made with macro mode. (theres a lot more in the link above)

The last picture was the best overall

    Hope you guys like it.

    A very nice review!

But why not upload them to our wiki? In time to come, your post might be forgotten but not in the wiki

    Thanks for the review!

Hi! If you bought it here in Brazil, it's not a Ming... it's a MotoTASK. I guess it's better, you won't have to hide if from Flash Gordon...

I will take a look at your review!!!!!

Just updated the review specially at the audio/video section. Added a couple of information about codecs and my experience so far.

Thats what the official website says:
    http://direct.motorola.com/PRL/web_p...roductid=30673

But i guess they still did not update their boxes or manuals, because mine has a tag "made in Brazil" but ii's still named motoMing.

I think the only difference is the software. Mine came with absolutely nothing in chinese and the equaliser in RealOne player is working 100%. Other than that they are pretty much the same.

Nope, sorry. I think there's no way to "extract" the firmware from the phone when it's already installed.

I'll be posting the English review in the next days.

HHmmm...sorry to ask, but i read that the MotoTask (a1200i) has dual processor. Never heard it about the normal a1200. Does anyone knows if our Ming a1200 has dual processor?

Both the A1200 and the A1200i have the same hardware. The only difference is in the firmware.
