just fiddling thru my fone i found this......::::-----

to save more battery in a1200 simple keep the backlight at
20-30%, wen extra or more light is needed,simple,press
the answer button for 3-5 seconds and see the difference as there will be more light on the display of the fone.

do tel me ur results ,workx for me and for ppl whom i told this.
