Please Help,
I just flashed my A1200i with Bin'ts 08P and after the procedure ends
my phone went all english, not signal apeared and also I was not able to
access the contacts, the phone pad, or anything on the upper side of the phone.
This was a functional A1200i with Portuguese Brazil languge, I did the
flash upgrate on a attend to acccess more memory for the DATABASE
where contact reside.
Now I have nothing working. Anyone has the original Brazlilian version
of the flash or any other that make it work?
Before I had the the firmware: R532L4_G_11.40.0FRBP
does anyone has it by any chance?
Cheers!

Hi Cruz!
You shouldn't have flashed your phone if you had portuguese firmware because you cannot get back to what you had![]()
Also I don't think that any firmware will give more place for contacts than any other!
btw. to have so many contacts on phone is not very practicable to handle and I don't think anybody really needs that. Maybe it's possible to increase the number of contacts if you filter out any other information than name and phone number per contact in sync software.
If you want back your language on phone I can help and make portuguese version of spanish language pack. There is portuguese GUI and VR integrated anyway but keybord and word prediction is spanish.
Looking on portuguese keybord I think spanish one would be better anyway. But If I could get some hints what characters are really needed for portuguese, I possibly could make one that is even better than the one you had before flashing
So just give me info about needed characters and I look what I can do.
Hi, I am from Brazil and here is stating selling A1200i , I have bought a A1200, is there any difference from each other, besides the firmware?

Guys and specially mischka,
Thank you very much for the help I really appreciate, I took a different
approach to my problem, since I bought the phone few days ago I went
back to the dealer and the guy gave me another brand new one. So,
now I'm backing on business. Sorry to bother you guys.
Mischka, thank you so much for the time spend on answering my
request I really appreciate.
One question, is there any away to backup the firmware I have on my
current phone?
Cheers!
Milton
No unfortunately it's not possible. You can retrieve the firmware from the phone but you can't put it back on again.
