the service doesn't work for phones that aren't yet available in the U.S market. i've tried it and well they've sent the phone back flagged not repaired.

I've seen a thread here, how to exchange the flip of a ming (with pics). Seems to be not difficult to do it yourself. I'd try before I'd send it halfway arround the world and wait weeks to get it back

what about the lcd too? umm u cant really see it but the flip AND the lcd screen has been smashed due to pressure.

one question...

I have to replace the flip for sure, but do I replace the touch screen or just the LCD... the touch seems to work fine, when I tap it, it makes the responsive clicking sound notion, so I assume it works great... I seemingly remember where the off button is, and it works fine... does that mean the touch screen is ok and all I need to replace is the LCD? (and of course the flip) ... because between the LCD, flip and touch screen, the LCD potion is so much more expensive
