can somebody please help me?
Sorry if this was addressed somewhere else, as I couldn't find it from searching.
In testing the MMS setup, I opted to send myself a message with an embedded image. It was a 320x240 jpg on the transflash card that I have as a background, sized around 11k. The message sends out just fine, and the message is received just fine, so initially I thought all was good. The thing is, though, that the image in the received message is only about 2.5k and is EXTREMELY small. I mean, I could lay a stamp over the screen and you'd cover the image with plenty of stamp left over small. I've been trying to find out if there is some setting or option somewhere that I might need to change that is forcing a resize, or if maybe it is a provider thing. Any ideas?
To note, my MMS settings:
MMS over HTTP settings:

The problem isn't your phone.
the problem is the way Cingular deals with your phone.
Any phone that the Cingular network isn't setup for... ie, the V3x, the A1200 and on... when it sees a message above a "safe" size, it makes the image, or attachment smaller for successful sending to the unknow handset. If you were to send to say a RAZR, the image would be smaller, but not 2.5 K...
The network makes the image smaller twice in your case. Once on uploading, and then again to download. Both times because of the unrecognized handset.
