Help! Home screen reads "Cingular", want it to say

Hi, I just received my unlocked phone yesterday, and I put my T-mobile SIM chip inside and I had it configured by T-mobile, but the home screen reads "Cigular"! How do I get rid of that and have it display T-Mobile?

Funny thing with this phone I've noticed as opposed to others...

It seems to display what network's tower you are on... rather than the card in it. I've had AT&T show up on mine as well as T-mobile... all while travelling. I've also had Roaming show up from time to time as well.

My V3x would always say cingular regardless of what network it was really on... and I've made the same trips with the V3x. Until of course, I lost signal entirely...
