Cannot install PKG files even after after MPKG installation

Hi,

I have taken the yan0 mpkg installer and installed it, restarted the phone and the mpkg icon shows in the programmenu but when I try to install any pkg file (even from yan0's collection) by clicking on it and opening it with mpkg, nothing happens.

There is absolutely no activity and no beep sound either. No installation takes place. Help me resolve. I am on .08p generic firmware.

I'm having the exact same problem. Have been struggling with it for the last 2 months. Have posted at many places in this forum for help. But no luck.

If you get something here or anywhere, please let me know too. I have the same firmware version too.
