a1200 VS a1200i?

Hello, I'm new here and I am very interested in getting the a1200, hopefully this week. I think I'm going to buy it on Ebay here:

Anyways while reading some reviews I found this specific review that says "Try to buy A1200i not A1200. It has activy sync and more than 300 bugs fixed. Amazing and fantastic phone!" I found it on this website:

While searching online for the a1200i I found little information, even on this forum. I didn't find any for sale on Ebay either only the a1200. My questions are:

1. Is there an a1200i available for sale that DOES have over 300 bugs fixed?

2. If so, where can I buy it?

3. Is it Better than the a1200?

4. What are the differences?

Any recommendations and assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that custom firmware and hacks can debug most software issues and the hardware of A12 seems to be very good as is, so the real differences beat me.

I wonder how legit that is.. I dont think there are 300 bugs on this phone.

Plus i havent heard of an official release even in HK. So i wouldnt believe that.

I got an a1200i last week. It's clearly labeled in the manual and the phone, but the box only says a1200

It's too bad that I didn't know there was an a1200 and and an a1200i software and I ruined it (hopefuly just for the moment) by flashing my a1200i with a1200 firmware.

Anyway. the news is that the a1200i exists.

I don't know the differences.

Acording to the guy who sold me this, the i stands for international. That makes sense since my manual is written in spanish.

The previuos units he sold (a1200) had only english languaje while the a1200i comes preloaded with some 10 language packs.

I was stupid enough not to write down the firmware version before flashig it so I can't say what it came with. What I can say for sure is that none of the 6 firmware versions I have tried so far has worked.

I'll post a picture of the manual later today. And I'll borrow another unit to check the firmware version.

BTW the flash keypress screen reads:
BOOT_G_00.01.89P_HAINAI but i don't know if that was the same before I flashed it.[/img]

and according to motorola brasil (link from alpha) it has potuguise, english, spanish and french menu. So "i" could really be for "international".

maybe in a few months there are other languages too (just dreaming)
