How do I enable the black background like the image below?

Go to setup click on wallpaper then click on menu. (Bottom left corner) Uncheck Transparency.

I guess I have to load in a 'black' background pic to set as the wallpaper? when I follow the steps above, I just get a bleach white background.

uhhh..ok..all you have to do is choose the appropriate theme...(#2 to be precise....)
Black is beautiful!!
