Hi ndpndnt16, V.RAZR.X, Alpha43 and members,
Does anyone else would like to have this voice message option on your Ming?
Awhile back I used to have sonyerricson K750I and it has option called voice message (you just record your message and send it to your recepeint) the recepeint will get a voice mail on their phone. I appologize if this topic has been brought up.
It would be nice and easier for us, Ming users to have this option so instead of typing message (as you guys know there is no way for us driving and typing all the message -- our insurance will surely goes way up for all the accident), all we have to do just press button, record message and send.
Thank you so much for your input or does someone has already develop this ??

I believe that voice messaging is a network feature. All the phone needs is a voice recorder and everything else is handled through the network.
Tap and hold VR button, red button, say your text, tap menu (lower left) select "share" then share via message.
It will be sent as MMS.
or
tap mail, compose, insert new record....
2 samkatta, thats what i thought at first but i tested with cingular and tmobile and both works.
2 mischka, thanks for your input.. stupid me.never mind guys.. it works what mischka said.
Thanks again for your help.

I think SE just gathered the steps to one menu button for easy access, that's all. You can do this with any MMS capable phone.
Well the option is there.... compose a text message and hit the music button-->Insert new recording say your message then send!

The network feature I'm talking about is sending the voice message as an SMS and not an MMS. Any MMS message can have voice which is normal for any phone with MMS not only the A1200 or the K750i, but to send a voice message as an SMS you need the network to do that for you.Originally Posted by dan_tan
Thanks Samkatta for your input. and I never explored that option before.Originally Posted by samkatta
