Its normal, dont worry. Its on all the mings. There are no screws to tighten. This play is present so the filp opens and closes freely.

When I got my Ming I noticed that the cover moves from side to side when closed, about 1mm. I figure there are some screws or something to tighten somewhere inside, but I'm scared to take it apart cause I don't know what I'm doing. Anyone try to fix theirs yet?

The hole in the lower hinge cover where the springloaded hinge pin fits in is a little sloppy, this is what causes most of the side to side play. I was able to add a paper shim around the hinge pin to take up this slop in my phone. This reduced the side to side play in my flip significantly. It does require complete disassembly of the phone however to gain access to remove the pin/lower hinge assembly.
Grant.
I thought my flip was loose or bad build. Good to know im not the only one.
