Increase screen brightness when out in the sun

I dont know if its been discovered before....if so sorry to the mods for re-posting.

If you need your screen temporarily brighter when out in the sun(brightness exceeds 100%), press and hold the green call button for more than 3 seconds and the entire screen brightens up to a degree higher than 100%. I'm using 08p firmware, I'm unsure wheather it will work with other firmwares or not.
