Blank text messages after VM

I just got my A1200 today and have figured just about everything out...I think. I have searched on here for an answer on how to get rid of the blank text messages, but all I can find are these seam edits. I have NO idea what a seam edit is, or how to do it. Is there any other way to take care of the blank text problem after i receive a voicemail, or is there a "dumbed" down version of how to seam edit? Thanks for the help!!

install radiocomm, connect the phone and change two numbers, done. Details are in the sticky threads on the top.

Yeah...I'm reading through that now. I'm going to give it a try. Question though...do I need some kind of software to plug my A1200 into my computer so the comp can recognize it? My phone didn't come with any software.

Install the motpcsdrivers.rar in the flash section. That should add in the drivers. I did not get the cd either. You can either do a seem edit through radiocom or update the firmaware to 46p which will also get rid of the voicemail bug.

No, all you have to do is make the USB mode on the phone's setup menu to mass storage and when you plug your phone to the PC windows will recognize it as removable drive.

Ok...I read through the two seem editing threads and figured out how to seem edit. But I didn't see where it says how to do the seem edit to get rid of the blank text messages. Any idea which numbers I have to change? Thanks again!

The one for voice mail I believe. This was in one of the stickies up there.

Change $89 to 8B. If that doesnt work some have reported that 8b works.
Make sure you restart you phone after the seem edit for it to go into full effect.
