Why don't you make your phone silent while sleeping, the reminder then will not give a sound.
The reminder beep that goes off every so often when you have a missed call/unchecked message is annoying the hell out of me. If I get a call while sleeping, I tend to silence the call. Then if I get a voicemail, I get woken upon every time the reminder beep goes off. Also annoying when in class.
I tried unchecking the "Reminder On" box in the call setup menu but it didn't silence it.
I have the OEM installed .06P firmware.
If there is a seem edit for this, that would be great. I would attempt the seem edit myself but I don't know what to look for.

Because I use my phone as an alarm clock.
I think you can set it so that the alarm function will work when its turned off isnt there?
Yes the alarm can still sound when you turn off the phone. The issue is I like to know who is calling at night. If I want to answer it, then I will, if not, then I will just silence the call and go back to sleep. Sometimes I get important phone calls while I am sleeping so I need my phone on.
Now, when I silence the call and get a voice message or text messge, the reminder beep will go off ever so often. I don't want that because I want to sleep.
I know the Moto RAZRs allow you to turn off the reminder beep. I just can't figure out how to do that with the Ming. Like I said above, I tried unchecking the Reminder On box in the call setup menu but that did nothing.
I believe that the alarm will work even if the phone is on silent mode.
any luck on this?!?
