Default Ringtones with Adobe Audition

Okay so before anybody says anything yes I have search, I have actually searched twice and I have found nothing about making ringtones with Adobe Audition. I need to know the sample rate, resolution, and channel for ringtones using Adobe Audition. Thank You

r u tryna make ringtones from scratch or r u cuttin down mp3 files n saving em as ringtones cause if ur cutting them down i use garageband for macs n i transfer em ova to itunes n convert em to to mp3's

settings i use
bit rate 96 kbps
sample rate 44.100khz

as u kno the higher the settings the bigger the file n the lower the settings the smaller the file...... but be caerful not to lower them to low or itlll be distorted cause u takn all the quality out of it.....

hey acaijr

Does having it at a higher bit rate lower the volume? Cuz Im thinkin of cuttin MP3s as well all my songs are 128kb+ I dont really have any concerns for the space the file takes up since its not gonna b significant anyway but wut worries me is that the volume will b too low

In a way yes, a song thats for example 64kb bitrate will not only sound worse but it will sound lower then say a 128kb. I use 160kb bit-rate for all my mp3's. Plus if your worried about volume try my volume table which fixes low volume from both the speaker and stereo headphones.

Sorry for the double post but since I'm a noob to the A1200 can someone tell me what flashing/flexing and seem editing and all this stuff is? Also how safe is it and if I mess something up is it reverisble so that I can make my phone "normal" again? Also what is the latest firmwareand what does updating do and how do I know what firmware my phone has? Thank You

Flashing is upgrading your phone's firmware which is released to fix some bugs or add new features to the phone by the manufacturer. While flexing is like manipulating the software on the phone to activate or disable certain functions (seem editing is used to do that).
It's pretty simple process and you can (most of the time) reverse the things you did.
You can see the firmware of the A1200 by going to the phone's dial pad and enter WWW008W (you insert the W by going to the menu tab and select insert wait) you'll get a chance to see the firmware for a few seconds (very short time) but you can do it again to have another glimpse if you need.
The latest firmwares released are 53P and 06P, these are from two different tracks (not to think that 06P is older). However 53P is not yet available here for download as generic version (generic means the firmware as released from the manufacturer without modifications from service providers) while 06P generic version is available for download here on the forum.

lol Alpha, I notice everyone is complaining about the volume problem. However I find that the lowest volume on the headsets is already too high (tho the ringtones could use a boost) >.>

BUt thanks for the info, I'll get onto it when my midterms are done

well if anything.... i can make you a custom volume table so that the volume of the stereo headphones are the same but the speaker volume is raised.
