Alpha - Somehow, the chinese dictionary (CEDictionary from
http://dictionarymid.sourceforge.net) that I installed, became corrupt. It worked for a few days and then yesterday it would not run. I tried uninstalling the program but it would not. So I figured a hard reset would bring the phone back to its OEM factory state.
I actually did go through the setup menu for the software reset which ultimately did the trick in restoring the phone to OEM factory specs. The only thing I noticed different now is I do not have the Line 2 option anywhere (whether it be in the Edit Ring Tones or when in the Call Setup menu). It doesn't bother me as I do not use Line 2.
There should be a key sequence to do a hard reset rather than going through the software. On my Moto MPx220, there is a hard reset key sequence.
Oh and to let you guys know, if you do the software reset through the setup menu, all your seem edits remain in tact. No need to redo them.
